Project #9 - Housing Assessment

​    Concerned about the possibility that Chagas' disease was related to the level of construction of the dwellings, a review of the construction of each house was conducted and they were ranked by whether two sides were completely finished (bricked in), one side was finished or neither of the sides was finished. That info was added to the data in the chagas report. Of all 54 houses, 11 had been completely bricked in on both sides, 22 on one side only, 3 had a side partially done and 18 houses still are not bricked in at all.

     The number of houses currently hooked up and receiving electricity was assessed. 15 of the 54 homes receive electricity.
