Project #13 - School Prep & Cleaning

    In order to open the school up for the semester they needed help getting it ready. We showed up at the school and a group of women from the community were busy clearing all the high grass from around the school, they were concerned that snakes would hide in the grass and bite the children. We assisted in clearing the grass. In addition to the outside of the school, the inside of school required a lot of work. It had been several months since the school was used and the rooms, desks and chair were full of dirt spider webs, egg sacs and other insects. We worked really hard to clean all the rooms so that school could open on time. We also constructed a Chicken Coop for the school so they could raise chickens for money for school materials.
